Mother Paper

I recently had my deceased mother’s “life is good” t-shirts pulverized into paper pulp by the wonderful Pulp and Deckle in Portland, OR. I have just started experimenting making paper with this pulp and learning its qualities. It seems to be pretty chunky and thready (although I am no where near an expert paper maker so it may just be me) as you can see from the photo where the sun is shining through the still wet paper.
